Tall and small giants in library

Reading brings people closer together. At the end of May learners of middle school and learners of high school met in the high school’s library „Josef Gasser“ in Brixen. Their meeting centered around the famous Irish legend „Giant’s Causeway and Finn Mc Cool“.

The tall giants of the 4th form high school read a version of the legend to the smaller giants of the middle school, class 3A „O. v. Wolkenstein“. The reading approaches of the elder students were creative and all different: Some acted out scenes using props, others visualised the setting on the floor.

Indoor and outdoor games made these lessons an unforgettable exchange for both. Last but not least, the meeting was a great opportunity to speak English – „The most important rule for tall and small giants“, commented their English teachers.
